Born while his parents were defending their doctoral theses in Structural Engineering, Antoni Kowalczewski, a 2006 Poland in the Rockies alumnus, has always had an affinity for numbers. His interest in business developed in Canada, where he would write people's names in Arabic for a quarter. Unfortunately the business failed, mainly because of his notoriously bad handwriting. Learning from that experience, he received a degree in Computing Science. Right out of University, Antoni started a company with his best friend and brother Jan. From having clients burn their own offices to avoid payment, to taking payments in meat, together they have been learning the hard lessons of business. They are currently using this experience to develop medical devices with the goal of helping thousands of people. Antoni and Jan are CR's webmasters.
