Mikolaj Kunicki is Assistant Professor of History at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. He received his PhD in history from Stanford University in 2004. He is the author of Between the Brown and the Red: Nationalism, Catholicism and Communism in Twentieth Century Poland, Ohio University Press, 2012. He has published in Contemporary European History, European Review of History, East European Politics and Societies, and Transit Europaische Revue. His current project examines national communism in Polish and Yugoslav cinema.
