Piotr Długołęcki is a graduate of the Institute of History and the Centre for Europe at the University of Warsaw and the Polish Institute of International Affairs. He held a Kosciuszko Foundation scholarship 2011-2012 for extensive research at many American archives. He has published two volumes in the Polish Diplomatic Series and many articles in Międzynarodowe, Polski Przegląd Dyplomatyczny, Polityka, Mówią Wieki, and Focus History. He is currently a historian at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
