Aquila Polonica to Publish Third Book

AquilaPolonicaAquila Polonica, the Los Angeles-based publisher dedicated to publishing, in English, the Polish experience of World War II with first-hand accounts, memoirs, photographs, artwork, poetry, literature and historical studies, is about to release its third title, 303 Squadron: The Legendary Battle of Britain Fighter Squadron. Written by Arkady Fiedler, the new edition is translated by Jarek Garlinski. Watch for CR‘s review in the January 2011 issue.

Irene Tomaszewski is a writer and editor of CR. She is the co-author, with Tecia Werbowski, of "Codename Żegota: The Most Dangerous Conspiracy in Occupied Europe," published by Praeger in 2010, and translator /editor of "Inside a Gestapo Prison: The Letters of Krystyna Wituska" published by Wayne State University Press in 2005.
